A Choralympiad – What is it?

Well, there's not been one before, so let's say it is a concert with differences.

Part 1 of the concert will celebrate the presence of an inter-continental, cosmopolitan choir, drawn from each of the five continents.

Each continental section of the choir will be given10 minutes to entertain the audience and the rest of the choir with music specially chosen by them to demonstrate the culture and tradition of male choral music in their home continent.

In part 2, the massed choir of 1,000 will perform a programme of music sung the world over, wherever male choirs assemble.
