HAPPY NEW CHOIR YEAR
Australian Rugby Choir welcome to 2026
With the Christmas Carols done for another year and all voices have recovered from the loud singing of Auld Lang Syne!
It's time to look forward to all the new things in 2026 holds for the Australian Rugby Choir in its thirtieth year of singing.
Why not come along to our first rehearsal evening on this Thursday, 15th January at 7:20pm and have a look.
We are always looking for tenors, baritones & basses, there isn't a need to be able to read music, just bring yourself and your voice to join a friendly group of men singing for pleasure in a Canberra Community Choir.

Vale Darryl Cupitt (1938 – 2025)
It was with much sadness that we received the news that Darryl Cupitt passed away on 30 September at the age of 86. His funeral will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday 15 October at St Matthew's Anglican Church, Wanniassa. more

Come & Try @ 9 October Practice
The choir is holding a Come & Try event to give anyone interested in joining an opportunity feel what it's like being part of a male voice choir. Practice will include learning a new song, along with the rest of the choir. Register interest on Humanitix. more

Vale David Barton Lewis OAM
The Australian Rugby Choir members were sad to learn of the passing last week of David Lewis OAM, the choir's foundation Patron, at the age of 80, and extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. more
