The Choir is proudly preparing to sing at the annual National Sandakan Remembrance Day Commemoration Ceremony at the Sandakan Memorial in the Sculpture Garden at the Australian War Memorial on Friday 29 May 2 pm – 3 pm. This wreath laying ceremony commemorates those who died during or survived the Sandakin death marches, and those who supported them or mourn them.
Tomorrow join the Australian Rugby Choir at Bungendore and District War Memorial for the Dawn 0545 and Morning Services 1045
After the morning services come down to relax at the Lake George and listen to the Canberra City Pipes and Drums and us sing a few Scottish tunes.
Then stay for our after lunch light concert.

With the Christmas Carols done for another year and all voices have recovered from the loud singing of Auld Lang Syne!
It's time to look forward to all the new things in 2026 holds for the Australian Rugby Choir in its thirtieth year of singing.
Why not come along to our first rehearsal evening on this Thursday, 15th January at 7:20pm and have a look.
We are always looking for tenors, baritones & basses, there isn't a need to be able to read music, just bring yourself and your voice to join a friendly group of men singing for pleasure in a Canberra Community Choir.
