Over the past two months, we have been practising a few old favourites at home Shelter, Hallelujah, Stouthearted Men, Sixteen Tons, You Raise Me Up, When I'm Sixty-four, I Am Australian, Every time I Feel the Spirit. Shilong has guided our weekly rehearsals and shaped them into recognisable tunes.
The crowds moving between the music stages, stalls and food vans showed how much locals and visitors enjoy this event.
We followed the charming Cyrenes Canberra Choir, who gave a lively rendition of Hunters & Collectors' "Throw Your Arms Around Me".
We hope we won over some new fans with "I Am Australia" and are pleased to have been invited back in 2027.
