When the British & Irish Lions come on tour, the Lions Male Choir travels along. The Australian Rugby Choir and Wagga City Rugby Male Choir were invited to join them to perform at the Sydney Opera House on Friday.
The Lions, conducted by Ieuan Jones and accompanied by Joseph Cavalli-Price, sang a medley of rugby anthems, along with some classical and modern songs. The Australian choirs, conducted by Judy Ferguson, responded with renditions of some of our favourites, and the combined choirs sang a variety of songs together.
