The Festival was graced by the presence and musical leadership of Dr Alwn Humphries, renowned for his long tenure as Musical Director of the internationally acclaimed Welsh male choir - the Morriston Orpheus.
The Festival featured some 260 male voices singing a variety of songs, supported by the Hall Village Brass Band under Colin Fischer, the Woden Valley Youth Choir led by Alpha Gregory, and soloists Louise Page, Christina Wilson, and Lucas de Jong.
Over one thousand very appreciative Canberrans attended this fine Concert. The next Festival of Males Choirs is to be held in the Sydney Town Hall, 14th November 2010, under the musical direction of Alpha Gregory.
