The Australian Rugby Choir has been very active throughout the Super 12 Rugby season in support of the ACT Brumbies against the Stormers, Bulls, Waikato Chiefs, Waratahs and Canterbury Crusaders, as well as the recent matches against Tonga and Fiji. In October Canberra will host the visiting international World Cup Rugby teams with matches featuring Italy, Wales, Canada, and Korea or Tonga. A number of events for the Choir are planned to help make our visitors welcome and to ensure a memorable occasion for all.

A unique opportunity for the Choir was to sing at the Women's Speak Conference dinner before an audience of several hundred women. This was the first time our all-male Choir has performed at such an event and our singing was appreciated by all. We were particularly honoured to receive this invitation.

The Subaru Rally of Canberra launch in Garema Place marked an important event for Canberra and the Choir sang splendidly before the roar of many powerful and dazzling rally cars and their very keen drivers.

We continue to attract new members and over coming months another singing retreat is planned at Jindabyne in the Snowy Mountains for members and partners. A coach trip in Spring to the beautiful Southern Highlands near Canberra is also planned.

Yours in song,

Wal Cooper
President
