The Australian Ruby Choir performed in the precinct at Telstra Stadium ahead of the test between the Wallabies and the Springboks, Saturday July 9th.

A Choir of some thirty members sang three lusty brackets of songs from 6.00 pm onwards, as the crowd streamed past for the 8.00 pm kick off.

Innocent by-standers were offered inducements (Wallaby 'freebies') to come and join us sing, or dance to the music. And they DID! It would have been warmer dancing than singing, as it was a damp. cool evening!

Many members chose to park at the Wentworth Hotel, have a meal, then take their shuttle bus to the Stadium and back again afterwards.

We gratefully acknowledge the provision of tickets to Choir members by the ARU, so that we are able to enjoy the comprehensive Wallaby win - lead by our Steve Larkham.

Next stop, the Opera House!
