Twenty six or so choristers turned out for this 9.00 am gig. We performed both verses of the Anthem in the three-part version recently arranged by our Musical Director, Andrea Clifford. While our performance lasted a matter of a few minutes, the Choir assembled at 8.30 am for warm-up and rehearsal, under the direction of Assistant Musical Director, Sarah Carvalho. Karen Fyfe was our accompanist.
The Australian Rugby Choir welcomes approaches from conference organisers. We believe that fine choral music - whether it be a rendition of the anthem, or some Conference Dinner entertainment - can add lustre to these important occasions. (contact Gig Coordinator: Paul Laffan - 0417 488872)
