The choir was conducted by our Musical Director Andrea Clifford - just back from a seven week Army course, with bruises to prove it. Karen Fyfe, on the piano, and Peter Guy on the organ, provided excellent accompaniment. We were delighted to have the services of local ABC Radio 666 identity David Kilby as master of Ceremonies.

The choir sang eight of the songs from our recent Opera House Concert program (July 11th), together with the 'Calypso Medley'. The evening came to a tumultuous ending with 'Cwm Rhonnda' and 'Calon Lan'. 'American trilogy', with the big Wesley organ in support, was especially effective, but the choir also showed that we can sing softly when the occasion demands.

Many volunteers gave assistance in making the Concert such a success. The supper was magnificent. Others parked cars, sold tickets, made posters, and organised thankyou gifts. A great cooperative effort, ably led by Vice President Mick Rice. A special thankyou to 'Credo' and 'Capital Brass' for their contributions to the program, to David Kilby, and to everyone else who helped along the way.
