31st October. Final MCAA practice with Alpha
Our attention is on Alpha's practice session next Sunday week and then the MCAA Concert in Sydney. Your bookings and arrangements should be close to finalisation so that finishing touches can be put on the Yellow Book songs.

Members are strongly urged to support this very important event and should note that the MCAA Festival of Male Voices is only three weeks away. If you have not yet done so, you are encouraged to book travel and accommodation. Note that time will be limited at lunch time on the Sunday. You are strongly advised to bring a packed lunch, and not rely on being able to buy lunch in the vicinity.

London Calling - Update
Just thought I would flag to you the great news that our own Madam Lash, the inimitable Andrea Clifford, has thrown her hat in to the ring with the London Concert Musical Director and Choir Master to be considered for the position of Coordinator of the Australasian contingent to perform at the Concert. Several shipping containers were filled with her resume and transported to mother England post haste! Should Andrea be selected for the role, it will put our Choir in a very favourable position in terms of being "in the know" about all aspects associated with our contribution for the first part of the Concert. Fingers crossed!!
