Do you prefer your Tchaikovsky served deconstructed?
With the grandeur of a 50-piece military band, the Band of the Royal Military College will be presenting the Canberra premiere of Johan de Meij’s Extreme Makeover, a modern take on Tchaikovsky’s most memorable themes. This will be complemented with popular classics from the wind orchestra repertoire including Bernstein’s Symphonic Dances from West Side Story, and Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition.
The Royal Military College Band is proud to announce that all proceeds will be donated directly to Legacy Australia, who continue to provide vital support for families of veterans.
Performance Date: 2pm, Saturday 25 May 2019
Venue: Llewellyn Hall, Canberra School of Music
Tickets: Entry by donation to support Legacy.
